How to Help

The soaring cost of education and demanding schedule of a seminarian make programs like The Rome Experience almost impossible. Yet, in order to prepare for the life and demands of the priesthood, seminarians should be encouraged and supported to seek out ways to broaden their education, deepen their spiritual life, and build fraternity among fellow seminarians and priests.

The Rome Experience depends on the generosity of donors and institutions to make the program possible each summer. With financial assistance, seminarians can profit from programs geared towards them without the burden of debt:

Sponsor a Seminarian
The estimated cost per seminarian for the summer program is $10,000. The cost includes the stipends for faculty and classrooms; lodging and local transportation; three daily meals; and, books and supplies. The cost does not include airfare or personal expenses. If you are considering giving at this level, please contact the Program Director at 630-739-9750 x28 for more information.

Scholarship Fund
Any amount is welcome to help support the general scholarship fund. The funds collected each year are distributed among those applying for financial assistance.

All donations to The Rome Experience are tax deductible. Please contact Charmaine Roth at The Rome Experience for payment information, deadlines, and tax information: 630-739-9750 x28.

Thank you!
